I’ll never give up the dream of being a sex toy addict.
In the years since I first discovered the joys of a little latex dildo and I now have more than 1,000 followers on Twitter, I’ve seen it all.
I’m just now getting the hang of my obsession.
The first time I heard the term “dame” was at a cocktail party and I was hooked, so when I heard I had been featured on the cover of Glamour magazine, it was a moment I couldn’t resist.
“I can’t wait to be in the Guinness Book of Records,” I texted my husband.
It was a dream come true.
As my obsession grew, so did my collection of sex toys.
I bought more than 3,000 different ones, and by 2014, I had a whopping 4,000.
When I discovered the company, I was inspired to find the best toys for my body, and it’s now a business full of the right brands and brands for me.
As a woman of colour, it’s important for me to be able to share my experiences with my community.
I think it’s very important for women of colour to understand the way we’re used to looking at sex toys and the way they’re marketed to us.
It’s a conversation that I’m hoping to continue, especially as the industry gets more and more popular, so that we can start to talk about these things and have a more open conversation about sex and gender.
It’s something that I hope will be more prevalent and inclusive.
The most important thing I’ve learned is that if I don’t start now, I can’t make it.
It took me years of trial and error, but I have finally found a product that works for me, that I can love, and that will work for me and my body.
