Updated March 28, 2018 12:15:08A woman from Texas has been charged with selling sex toys online for hundreds of dollars each, authorities in Texas said.
Travis County Sheriff’s Department spokesman David Martinez told The Associated Press on Thursday that the woman, identified only as Lulu, was arrested in late March after a tip from an anonymous person.
Martinez said she was “very excited” by the arrest and that she is cooperating with authorities.
She was arrested for selling sexual toys online, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
Toys for sale on Amazon, a marketplace that allows sellers to sell items for up to $99, often come with sex toys that look like condoms.
Tulsa police responded to a report of a man selling sex dolls, the release said.
He was arrested on a charge of child prostitution and was taken to a jail in Tulsa for processing.
Tulah County sheriff’s spokesman Brian M. Wilson told the AP that the department is working to determine whether there are any other victims of the suspect.
