Alyssah Milano is set to star in the latest installment in the wildly popular Broiler production series, which follows three high school girls, ages 17, 18 and 19, who find themselves thrust into a life-and-death battle against an alien menace known as the “Kree.”
Alyssa and Julia will be playing the roles of Kree Queen, Kree Princess and Kree Ambassador.
While the plot is set in the universe of the original Broiler series, the new film, which will be called Broiler: Sex, is set a little over a year after the original.
In the first movie, the three girls discover a mysterious alien vessel in the Pacific Ocean that is carrying an alien race known as “the Kree.”
A group of teenagers, including the Kree, are sent to investigate the vessel and find out who is responsible for the incident.
The two girls soon discover that their spaceship is being held captive by the Kreek, who have developed a secret weapon that allows them to control a group of Kreek in a single stroke.
With the help of a teenage girl named Kira (played by Milano), the girls must unravel the plot and protect the Krees from a devastating assault.
After the destruction of the Kreese spaceship, the trio find themselves trapped in the Kriele, a massive planet with a population of 10,000,000.
When Kira finds out that she is pregnant, she and her new husband, Adam (John Goodman), must find a way to save her from the Kremlings.
It will be interesting to see how this film will affect the future of the Broiler universe, and how the series is going to continue into the future.
Alicia Keys, who will play the Kreen Queen in the sequel, will be returning as a recurring character.
I am thrilled to be returning to the Broilers world as Kree ambassador and a founding member of the team who must save the Krells, the Klee, and the Krews from a dangerous alien invasion.
I am so excited to be playing this role again.
Julia Roberts, who played the Kresher Queen in Broiler, will also be returning.
“We’re thrilled to see her return to the franchise, but this is a great opportunity for Alicia to shine again in the role of Krell Queen and for us to see some really exciting things in the film,” executive producer Julie Plec said in a statement.
She said the production team was thrilled with the result of the first film, and was looking forward to working with Alicia again.
“She has such a wonderful personality and a great eye for character, and we look forward to building a new film with her,” Plec continued.
Last year, Milano, Keys and Goodman were all nominated for the best supporting actress Oscar for their performances in Broilers sequel, The Last Kiss, as well as The Kree: The Lost Tribe.
